Sue-Ellen has promised to bring her beautiful cello along and perform a couple of pieces, and has some special insights to offer about things which touched her in Annette’s gripping page-turner about an Irish emigrant girl who plays cello in a string quartet in a vividly created 1928 Sydney.
Tune in to ABC Hobart 936 Breakfast with Ryk Goddard at 7:30am on 12 February to hear Annette interviewed about the book, the music – and no doubt her Tasmanian-born mother.
And please visit Facebook.com/ADistantProspect/events and Join the launch event! The book tour continues with launches in Melbourne on 14 February (Readings Hawthorn) and Sydney on 24 February (Gleebooks).
