Gray Connolly launches By Violence Unavenged, Annette Young’s mighty sequel to A Distant Prospect, set in Sydney and Vienna between the two World Wars.
Gray Connolly is a Barrister, Writer and War Veteran, and a lecturer and examiner in Australian Constitutional Law. Gray is a panelist for ABC radio and television, often appearing as the lone conservative on ABC’s The Drum, and his writing has been published by the Australian Financial Review, The Guardian, The Spectator and the Melbourne University journal Meanjin. Gray is a graduate of the University of Sydney, the Royal Australian Naval College, and the University of NSW. Gray is married, has a basset hound named Churchill, and supports the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Richmond Football Club.
Come a little early if you can, and bring your friends. Wine and Vienna-themed nibbles will be served from 3:30 pm, Gray will speak at 4, and from 4:30, Annette will sign your pre-bought copy, or books bought from Gleebooks on the day.
