December 2012 was a big first month for A Distant Prospect!
- Over 100 copies sold directly from the first printing of the paperback edition, all on word of mouth;
- International distribution secured, with next day fulfillment to Amazon and Book Depository;
- Maitland book launch and first bookstore signing;
- Acacia Quartet agreed to play at the 24 February Sydney launch;
- Hobart (12 Feb) and Melbourne (14 Feb) launches organized, and we hear you, Canberra and Brisbane!
- Large type hardcover edition also produced and already selling internationally;
- Best of all, wonderful responses from readers, including reviews in places like Amazon and the Good Reading Guide.
So, keep telling your friends, ask for it at your bookstore, library or buy it online, and do write a review on Amazon or elsewhere if you’ve read it and have something to say!
